These pants are not made in the same way as the other 5.11 pants I own. The fabric is lighter (but still waterproof), making it ideal for summer. Instead of a snap button, there's a regular button, made of steel and secured with a reinforced fabric strip. I have no concerns about the durability of this button. We'll see if the fabric is as durable as the brand's other pants.

The pants are great, but the material around the thighs wears out quickly. The manufacturer could use a more durable fabric in this area. Despite this flaw, the pants are still worth buying.
