Fuel base, Spirit burner
The base acts as a heat shield, improving combustion efficiency. When assembled, it holds all the components of the kit for ease of transportation.
The burner, made of brass, is powered by alcohol-based liquid fuels. It is equipped with a ring to adjust the flame or extinguish it. Inside the base is a non-woven fabric which is soaked in alcohol before ignition, allowing the burner to heat up.
