Carinthia Tropen Medium Sleeping Bag - Woodland

Compact, vapour-permeable mummy sleeping bag with integrated mosquito net. Designed for use all year round, it guarantees thermal comfort up to temperatures of 9.4 deg. C for women (T-comfort) and 5.1 deg. C for men (T-limit).

The outer layer is made of a lightweight and moisture-resistant Shelltrans material, which loosely adheres to the inner layer, creating an additional insulating barrier. The inner layer is made of polyamide, which is characterised by low moisture absorption and high tear resistance.

The single-layer filling made of G-Loft synthetic down provides adequate thermal insulation and is characterised by its softness, elasticity and effective insulation even when wet. The Thermoflect layer provides additional protection against heat loss by reflecting the thermal energy generated by the body and keeping it inside the sleeping bag.

Tropen can serve as an inner insulating layer when combined with other sleeping bags, significantly increasing the thermal efficiency of the system. Effective moisture wicking ensures thermal comfort even at temperatures as low as -20°C. Modern technology and advanced materials provide low weight and compact dimensions when packed, making transport and storage easier.

The trapezoidal shape at the bottom ensures maximum legroom, and the two-way zip allows you to adjust the ventilation to maintain an optimal temperature inside. The model is equipped with a built-in mosquito net, located in the flap with snaps at the front, which can be attached around the hood with a zip.

The most important indicators describing the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are usually marked with the following values:

• T-max - the maximum temperature at which an average man can sleep through the night without excessive sweating or being woken up by the heat,
• T-comfort - the lowest temperature at which the average woman can sleep comfortably all night,
• T-limit - the lowest temperature at which the average man can sleep all night.
