Carinthia Tropen Medium Sleeping Bag - MultiCam

Compact, vapour-permeable mummy sleeping bag with integrated mosquito net. Designed for use all year round, it guarantees thermal comfort up to a temperature of 9.4°C for women (T-comfort) and 5.1°C for men (T-limit).

The outer layer is made of lightweight and moisture-resistant Shelltrans material, which loosely adheres to the inner part, creating an additional insulation barrier. The interior is made of polyamide, which is characterised by low moisture absorption and high tear resistance.

The single-layer filling made of G-Loft synthetic down provides adequate thermal insulation and is characterised by its softness, elasticity and effective insulation even when wet. The Thermoflect layer provides additional protection against heat loss by reflecting the thermal energy generated by the body and keeping it inside the sleeping bag. 

Tropen can serve as an inner insulating layer when combined with other sleeping bags, significantly increasing the thermal efficiency of the system. Effective moisture wicking ensures thermal comfort even at temperatures as low as -20°C. Modern technology and advanced materials provide low weight and compact dimensions when packed, making transport and storage easier.

The trapezoidal shape at the bottom provides maximum legroom, and the two-way zip allows for adjustable ventilation, maintaining an optimal temperature inside. The model is equipped with a built-in mosquito net, located in the flap with snaps at the front, which can be attached around the hood with a zip.

The most important indicators describing the limits and temperature ranges of sleeping bags are usually marked with the following values:

• T-max - maximum temperature at which an average man can sleep through the night without excessive sweating or being woken up by the heat,
• T-comfort - lowest temperature at which an average woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
• T-limit - lowest temperature at which an average man can sleep through the night.
