Merrel uses the Merrell® Air Cushion system in its shoes, which is an additional air cushion in the sole that absorbs shock and protects the foot from impact. Also, the American manufacturer Under Armour has introduced in its products an interesting ankle brace system UA ClutchFit, which protects the foot from accidental injuries and trauma.
