Shortly after the end of World War II, their production was significantly increased, and thanks to the advent of new technologies and strong synthetic materials, military patches began to be characterized by high durability and quality workmanship. They were primarily used to indicate a soldier's rank, type of army or glorify his achievements that he made during his military career.
