Sea To Summit

Sea to Summit is a renowned outdoor brand originating from Australia. Its history began in the 1990s when it was founded by two adventure enthusiasts: Roland Tyson and Tim Macartney-Snape. The inspiration for the brand came from an extraordinary expedition by Macartney-Snape, who in 1990 became the first person to travel from sea level (Bay of Bengal) to the summit of Mount Everest, using equipment handmade by Tyson. The brand name symbolizes this unique journey - "from sea to summit".

Origin and development of the brand

Sea to Summit was established in Australia, and its beginnings are associated with the production of equipment for the most demanding mountain and adventure expeditions. The brand quickly gained recognition in the travel community due to its innovative approach to designing and testing products in extreme conditions - from the tropics to the highest mountain ranges. Over time, the company expanded into international markets, becoming a leader in lightweight and functional travel equipment.
