The Ultralight R model is characterized by a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 1.1, determined according to the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This parameter indicates the degree of insulation from the ground; a higher value signifies better heat retention.

Interpretation of R-Value in the outdoor industry:

• 1.0-2.0 - use in summer conditions (at night temperature above approx. 10 deg. C),
• 2.1-3.5 - use in spring, summer, and fall (within 0-10 deg. C),
• 3.6-5.0 - cool conditions, around 0 deg. C and negative down to approx. -5 /-10 deg. C,
• 5.1-7.0 - winter use, at temperatures below 0 deg. C,
• above 7.0 - demanding winter conditions with increased insulation needs.

Actual thermal comfort depends on the sleeping set (e.g., sleeping bag, clothing), type of ground, and individual tolerance to cold.

The internal layer consists of embossed thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), a flexible and damage-resistant material, additionally coated with an antibacterial coating to limit the growth of fungi and mold in the air chambers. The outer layer is made of lightweight 40D nylon reinforced with Rip-Stop to prevent tearing. An additional polyurethane coating provides non-slip properties and allows for easy spot repairs with self-adhesive patches.

The mattress features a modern system of 181 interconnected air chambers Air Sprung Cells. This construction enables even weight distribution and precise adaptation to the body's shape, significantly increasing sleep comfort. The flexible structure of the chambers reduces pressure points and improves stability during rest. The applied PillowLock system stabilizes the pillow's position and prevents it from shifting during sleep, enhancing user comfort.

The mattress is equipped with a wide, one-way valve, allowing for quick inflation and precise adjustment of firmness by filling or partially releasing air. The valve design prevents uncontrolled air loss. To completely deflate, simply open the valve.

When folded, the mattress achieves compact dimensions of 17 x 7.5 cm, allowing for easy placement in, for example, a backpack.
