The XRG Multi H-X8 is an excellent headlamp. At this price, especially on promotion, it offers a lot. Many modes, lighting for shorter and longer distances (or both at the same time), holds well on the head – even while running it doesn't fall off. I recommend it, it's really good.

The LEDs are installed within a metal frame that is secured by a splash-resistant housing crafted from sturdy polycarbonate. The flashlight's head can be adjusted up to 90 degrees vertically, enabling focused illumination on specific targets. Smooth adjustments allow users to customize the band size according to their preferences. The top strap further stabilizes the flashlight on the head and ensures even weight distribution.
LEDs activated via buttons
The primary white LEDs feature 2 T6 positioned at the center and 4 XPE on the sides, all controlled via a single button. A second button activates the auxiliary COB LEDs, which emit a uniform, diffused light in either white or red. Both main and auxiliary LEDs can be operated together.
A third button located on the battery compartment controls the activation of the rear red LED, enhancing safety when traveling at night on roadways. Each button initially turns on the corresponding LEDs, and subsequent presses adjust the modes until the flashlight is switched off.

I didn't expect a large range (it's not a spotlight); I cared about focused light of varying intensity with a distinct central point – depending on the operating mode. I use the red light for astronomical observations. I immediately bought stronger batteries because charging via USB takes longer than the manufacturer states, so I use a separate charger. Overall, I recommend it!
