The updated version of the well-loved Sparrow backpack – a compact 20-liter model crafted for survival and military applications, made from 500D Cordura in Black. Drawing inspiration from the urban Raven model, this design has been tailored for rigorous field use.
Durable Cordura construction
Constructed from rugged 500D Cordura, this material is exceptionally resistant to abrasion and mechanical damage, ensuring lasting durability in demanding conditions.
2 compartments, 5 pockets, hydration system
Fitted with two ample compartments, the primary section (17 l) includes four D-rings attached to the back panel for securing accessories. The secondary compartment boasts an enhanced organizer for arranging smaller items. Within the main compartment, there are mesh pockets equipped with zipper closures. The lid has a flat pocket that matches the main compartment's size and is about 4 cm deep, perfect for storing documents, maps, or a small laptop. Additionally, a small pocket on the lid's exterior allows for quick access.
A hydration bladder hook, along with a hose port and two mounting points (situated on each shoulder strap), ensure secure system attachment.
Main closure and protective flaps
A two-way zipper runs across three sides of the lid, enabling a wide opening of the backpack for effortless access to both compartments. All zippers are durable and wear-resistant, and come with textile pullers suitable for use while wearing gloves. Additional protective flaps guard the zippers from dirt and moisture.
Carrying system, compression straps, transport handle
The ACS – Air Comfort System enhances carrying comfort by providing structure and back ventilation. Ergonomically designed shoulder straps with a quick-release function and an adjustable chest strap offer a customized fit. The interior side of the straps is crafted from dense, snag-resistant material.
Both sides of the backpack are equipped with two adjustable straps featuring fastex 30 mm buckles, which are useful for compression or securing external gear, such as a tarp, mat, jacket, or camouflage net. A wide, elongated transport handle is positioned at the top of the pack, facilitating easy hand carrying.
MOLLE / PALS
The front, sides, and bottom feature MOLLE/PALS webbing, ideal for attaching extra gear or accessing urgent need equipment quickly.
Velcro panel
A velcro panel is located on the front, allowing customization of the backpack with patches, flags, or morale patches.

Very good backpack in every way, although for me the downside is the weight—the solid cordura does weigh something, so for everyday work I feel the weight a bit, especially at the end of the day. Other than that, it is very well made.

I bought the backpack in July 2021 and have been using it almost daily. It is very solid. After washing, the molle straps got a bit damaged, so I've since washed it in a protective cover. I also noticed that the price has gone up a lot – four years ago, I paid 299 PLN for it.

This is basically a smaller version of the Sparrow 30, practically identical :) Thanks to this, it's very comfortable for daily use, because 30 liters is a lot, and if it's not fully packed, it can be a bit floppy. I can wholeheartedly recommend it as a backpack for everyday use.

Very tough material, resistant to damage and moisture, gives you confidence in reliability. 20 liters of capacity and a well-thought-out pocket layout allow for convenient organization, and the MOLLE system makes expanding it easy. The backpack is comfortable even with extended wear—shaped straps and a reinforced back increase comfort. Ideal for people looking for durability and functionality without unnecessary extras. Wisport, as always, did not disappoint—I recommend it.

A versatile backpack, great for both one-day trips out of town and for daily use at work. Sparrow 20 replaces my Sparrow 30 when I need something smaller. You can also expand it with special side pockets or other accessories in the molle system.

I already have the Sparrow 30 model, but I needed something smaller for work and the Sparrow 20 works great. It has comfortable straps, fits drinks, food, daily accessories, and a small speaker with headphones. It’s definitely worth tying up the dangling cords with rubber bands, four are already on the backpack, but an extra set is very handy and keeps things from tangling.
