Medium-sized military backpack in black with a 40 litre capacity. Designed with numerous practical features—including ski-compatible straps and an advanced SAS carrying system with an OpenBack panel that lets you open the back of the pack. Made from highly durable 500D Cordura and fitted with certified ITW Nexus and Duraflex buckles as well as reinforced seams, this backpack offers outstanding resistance to harsh conditions and mechanical damage.

OpenBack system

The backpack’s construction includes the OpenBack system, making it easy to access the inside using a detachable back panel. By unfastening the shoulder straps and the zip, you can quickly reach the entire main compartment of the backpack from the frame side—especially useful when carrying a lot of gear, as it allows you to take out or pack away specific items without removing the rest of your equipment.

Advanced SAS carrying system

SAS (Semi Adjustable System) is a highly advanced suspension system that lets you precisely adjust the pack to your body shape. The adjustable sternum and hip belts effectively transfer the weight onto your hips, easing the load on your spine. The shoulder straps can be detached via buckles, and there’s a dedicated spot for a hydration tube. Soft, breathable mesh on the straps and back panel improves air circulation.

Lid and extended collar design

The main storage area is based on a spacious compartment with a lid and collar closure. The lid is secured by two adjustable straps with Fastex buckles, while the collar with its drawstring lets you expand the pack’s storage capacity when needed. There’s also a top zippered pocket in the lid and a velcro panel for attaching patches or emblems.

MOLLE/PALS mounting system and ski holders

Exterior and interior MOLLE/PALS webbing lets you attach compatible pouches and gear. External straps with buckle closures are great for carrying larger items—like a sleeping bag, pad, or jacket. Open side pockets are ideal for carrying a water bottle or thermos, and they include ski holders.

Rain cover and internal organizer

Inside you’ll find an organiser with a mesh pocket and a special compartment for a hydration system water tank. A rain cover is hidden in the double bottom, offering protection for the backpack and its contents during rain or snow.

    The price of the backpack is not among the lowest, so I had high expectations for it, but I must admit that the product has even exceeded them – it’s immediately clear that it was designed with great care in terms of user comfort, ergonomics, and build quality. Thanks to the back-opening panel, you can very conveniently pack and unpack items even from the bottom, without having to move everything around. Inside, there’s a functional organizer, and the drawstring closure, adjustable flap, and various straps allow you to use more capacity than the declared 40 liters. The spacious side pockets, numerous attachment points, and the MOLLE/PALS system are big advantages, allowing you to easily adapt the backpack to your own needs. The whole thing is made of solid materials, the stitching, fasteners, and zippers all look very durable – you can confidently load heavy gear and use the backpack intensively outdoors. The carrying system is very comfortable and helps to distribute the weight properly. The SilverFox II works perfectly as an intermediate model between a light daypack and a large expedition pack. It’s neither lightweight nor minimalist, but it was designed with something entirely different in mind – it’s a very solid, spacious, and versatile backpack, where the high price is matched by excellent quality and functionality. I definitely recommend this model.

    The backpack is spacious and well-designed, with a small organizer inside. You can attach additional gear to it using the MOLLE/PALS system or other available straps. The only drawback is the back stiffener—the rail was cut so that sharp edges were created, which over time may wear through the bottom of the tunnel where it is located. I suggest protecting the lower end of the rail by covering it with thick heat-shrink tubing.

    Amazing backpack – sturdy, comfortable, and very spacious. During a winter trip to the Tatra mountains, it was comfortable even when fully loaded. The side pockets can fit an Esbit thermos even with a full backpack. The access system from the back is not very convenient – the idea itself is okay, but to reach the inside, you need to unfasten five buckles and a zipper, which is a bit troublesome.

    I hesitated for a long time before buying a medium-sized backpack, but the Silverfox II turned out to be a real hit. Well made and high-quality materials. Fits the back very well. Option to attach pockets—including to the hip belt, which was important to me. The backpack opens from the back, so when you want to access the inside, you don't lay it on its dirty side and you don't get dirty again when putting it back on. Thanks to the extension, adjustable flap, and straps on the flap, underneath, and on the sides, you can fit much more than the declared capacity allows. I would give 6 stars if that was possible.

    The backpack is solidly made, which is to be expected from the Wisport brand. It has practical solutions, such as a back opening that makes it easier to access the inside without making a mess. Inside, there's an organizer and the option to attach a hydration bladder. On the outside, there are plenty of places to attach additional gear. I have already used the backpack several times during outdoor trips – it is very spacious and comfortable to use. I definitely recommend it.

    It gives the impression of solid construction. Excellently designed – it has an extra pocket on top, can be opened like a suitcase, and the roll-top closure allows you to expand the backpack.
