Wisport Raccoon 45 l Backpack Black
Military bug out bag with a capacity of 45 liters, in black color. It is made from highly durable and abrasion-resistant Cordura. Designed by the Wisport company from Wrocław in collaboration with commandos of the 1st Special Regiment from Lubliniec. The backpack is based on the concept of the well-known Racoon models with capacities of 65 and 85 liters, providing a compromise between capacity and weight of the gear.
Adjustable FAS carrying system
The backpack features an aluminum framework and an adjustable carrying system (FAS Plus Ergonomic), allowing the backpack to be tailored to the user's individual physical characteristics. The wide, soft, and adjustable hip and chest belts are equipped with certified ITW NEXUS and Duraflex buckles. The entire system provides significant rigidity to the backpack and comfortable carrying of heavy loads. The spacer mesh on the back enhances air circulation.
Spacious main compartment and additional pockets
The main compartment is divided into two parts (an internal collar divides it into a lower part constituting 1/3 and an upper part constituting 2/3 of the capacity). Access to the baggage stored at the bottom is facilitated by a detachable flap located at the bottom. The upper flap is fastened with Fastex buckles and is equipped with a Velcro panel at the front, which allows for attaching patches. The backpack also features a drawstring collar with a cinch cord, allowing to increase its capacity.
MOLLE/PALS system and external straps
The MOLLE/PALS system allows for the attachment of additional pockets and accessories. The external straps with buckles provide extensive configuration options, useful for carrying a sleeping pad or sleeping bag. They also enable additional compression of the backpack, preventing the contents from shifting. Bar-tacked seams enhance resistance to damage.
Elastic side pockets and transport handles
On the side of the backpack are small, elastic side pockets for storing a water bottle or thermos. Additional side transport handles are sewn on the back side, facilitating carrying the backpack by hand.
Hydration pocket and rain cover
The backpack is equipped with a special compartment adapted for carrying a water tank (Camelbak). The hole for the hose to the outside is further protected against water ingress. Plastic clips on the straps ensure stable attachment of the hose. The backpack set also includes a rain cover that protects against precipitation.

I considered this backpack and another Wisport model, but ultimately chose the other one because of a different opening system, but the Raccoon is also great – very spacious and has everything you need.

Amazing product, I rate it 5/5! I'm surprised you can design such a comfortable backpack. The comfort is outstanding – during a trip I walked over 20,000 steps and even my slightly crooked back didn’t hurt (in other backpacks I always felt pain). Great purchase, I definitely recommend it!

A really nice backpack, in my opinion it has a larger capacity than the stated 45L, because it holds more than the 55-liter Crafter. It has rarely seen side pockets for bottles. The downside is the small top flap, which is hard to open when the backpack is full.

This is already my second backpack from this brand (the first is the Wildcat 65l model, which I take for longer trips). This Raccoon model is perfect for shorter trips lasting 2-3 days. The 45l capacity is definitely enough and at the same time it's much lighter. If needed, you can increase the capacity by using the side pockets from the larger backpack – they match in style, color, and material. I do miss small external pockets for little items like documents or a flashlight – it would be easier to grab them during a short outing, but you can always buy small cargo pouches and attach them with the molle system.

Excellent backpack, huge plus for the frame. I have back problems and my back always hurt during hitchhiking trips. This model pleasantly surprised me – I don't feel any pain, and the hip belt and adjustment options are very practical.

Hello there. I use several Wisport backpack models: Canyon, Sparrow, and Sherpa, which was my first purchase. I still use all of them today, and the oldest is already 18 years old and still performs great. I also have many products from this company in the clothing section, such as very comfortable socks for winter and summer, various pouches and extra straps that are easy to order.
