As so often with socks: size up! I have feet size 42-42½ so shoes 43-43½ and I ordered these in size 44-46 and shouldn't have been any smaller! Exact fit now. Production seems solid. Good mesh position, first wear on not so warm but long day had my feet quite dry (with liners though) and they didn't stink. With synthetic the fabric is a bit slick or sticky whatchacallit compared to blend with cotton. Didn't feel particularly cooling but not warm either because they're nice thin and airy. Will have to prove on hit long days...

The socks are much lower quality than Wisport backpacks. I tested them on mountain trails with gore-tex shoes – my feet sweated, the material pilled and wore out. It's better to pay a bit more and invest in merino socks.
