Polycarbonate Selenite lenses with T-Shell coating and Anti-fog

All visors are constructed from shatter-resistant Selenite polycarbonate and are treated with a T-Shell coating to safeguard against scratches. An additional Anti-Fog coating is applied to prevent the lenses from fogging. They ensure eye protection from harmful ultraviolet rays, including UVA and UVB. The glasses' frames and lenses are crafted using HVP technology (High Velocity Protection), offering protection against eye injuries from fast-moving objects.

The frames are shaped, and the thin curved Comm temples are crafted to offer an optimal fit with hearing protectors and other gear. The adjustable nosepiece (Twist Lock) conforms to the face's contour. Constructed from lightweight and stress-resistant Triloid material, the frames provide durability and comfort.

3 interchangeable visors

The glasses feature interchangeable lenses available in these colors:

  • Gray with 15% light transmission, ideal for environments with intense sunlight.
  • Light Rust (orange) allowing 52% light transmission and enhancing contrast vision.
  • Clear with 89% light transmission, perfect for indoor use and overcast weather.

All visors offer 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays.

Standards and certifications

  • MIL-PRF-32432A: Under this standard, the frame and visors must endure impacts from bullets or fragments measuring 3.8 mm in diameter, traveling at speeds between 700 and 725 km/h.
  • ANSI Z87.1 - Specifies the impact resistance for the visor and frame, ensuring they are tested against high-mass steel objects and fast-moving steel balls to confirm protection from common mechanical threats.
  • EN.166F - Complies with the European standard for defense against medium energy impacts from fast-moving particles. According to this standard, the frame and visor must resist impacts from a 6 mm diameter steel ball, weighing 0.86 g, at a velocity of 162 km/h.

    Great glasses, definitely worth their price. Their flat temples do not cause discomfort when wearing over-ear headphones. The dark version protects well against light, and the transparent and orange lenses are a big advantage. Changing the lenses may be difficult at first, but over time it becomes easy.
