Selenite polycarbonate lenses with T-Shell and Anti-fog coating

Each visor is constructed from shatter-resistant Selenite polycarbonate and features a T-Shell coating to enhance scratch resistance. The Anti-Fog layer effectively prevents the lenses from fogging. These glasses shield the eyes from UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays. For those with vision impairments, an optional RX insert (not included) can accommodate corrective lenses. Utilizing HVP (High Velocity Protection) technology, the frames and lenses are designed to minimize the risk of injury from rapidly moving projectiles.

The design of the frames, crafted from the lightweight and stress-resistant material Triloid, ensures a secure fit without sacrificing comfort when using hearing protectors or night vision equipment. The adjustable nose pad adapts to the contour of the nose, boosting the stability of the glasses during movement and increasing comfort even with extended wear.

3 interchangeable visors

The glasses come with interchangeable lenses available in these colors:

  • Gray with 15% light transmission, appropriate for bright sunlight environments.
  • Light Rust (orange) offering 52% light transmission and enhanced contrast in vision.
  • Clear with 89% light transmission, perfect for indoor settings and overcast conditions.

All visors ensure 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays.

Standards and certifications

  • MIL-PRF-32432A: In compliance with this standard, the frame and visors can resist impact from projectiles/fragments measuring 3.8 mm in diameter, traveling at velocities between 700 and 725 km/h.
  • ANSI Z87.1 - defines the impact resistance of visors and frames. Tests evaluate their toughness against impacts with a substantial steel object (High Mass) and a fast-moving steel ball (High Velocity), ensuring protection against common mechanical threats.
  • EN.166S - aligns with the European standard for impact protection against moving objects (Medium Energy Impact). Class S mechanical strength indicates that the frame and visors offer enhanced resistance to impacts from a steel ball 22 mm in diameter, weighing 43 g, at an approximate speed of 5.1 m/s.

    The glasses are incomplete – the strap is missing. Appearance is fine, the lenses are as described, the frames are quite light, although replacing the lenses requires some effort, but that's not a problem. I recommend buying. I only give four stars due to the missing strap.
