These protective glasses feature visors with high mechanical resistance, effectively protecting against debris, ricochets, and other hazards in accordance with class F (object weighing 0.86 g reaching a speed of 45 m/s). The wide visor and durable construction ensure not only effective eye protection but also great wearing comfort.
Saber Advanced Glasses have interchangeable visors made of durable polycarbonate that meet ANSI ballistic protection standards, EN166 F. The visor protects eyes from harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet radiation. The wide visor and solid construction provide effective protection and comfort during use.

EN166 is a European standard for optical requirements and mechanical protection for glasses and goggles. Optical requirements include light transmission and diffusion, refractive properties, heat and UV resistance, corrosion and ignition. Mechanical protection is the resistance to object impact, within which there are 4 levels designated by the letters S, F, B and A, where S is the least protection and A is the highest.
According to this standard, the frame and lenses of glasses must provide protection against a bullet with a diameter of 3.8 mm fired at 194-200 m/s (700-720 km/h). Goggles must provide protection against a 5.56 mm diameter bullet fired at 165-170 m/s (594-612 km/h). Lenses and frames marked with the Ballistic standard provide the highest level of eye protection and are virtually indestructible.
According to this standard, the frame and visor of the glasses can withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel BBs traveling at 45 m/s (164.6 km/h).
