The fire starter is of excellent quality, has a solid rod and an outstanding striker that generates plenty of sparks – you could almost weld with it 😂. Every true adventure lover should have one. Highly recommended!
An 8.6 mm diameter ferrocerium rod flint that gives a large sheaf of sparks with a temperature of 3000°C. It works even in difficult atmospheric conditions such as during rain and wind and at high altitudes. With the help of the flint you can light, for example, a gas stove, a tourist stove or a campfire, which is a source of heat and allows you to prepare a meal away from home. It will be perfect not only during camping, but also in emergency situations. The rod of the flint is sufficient for about 5000 kindling.
The handle is made of porous plastic. Along with the flint , the set includes a sparking device in the form of a serrated metal plate and a paracord pendant. Thanks to its small size, the whole thing will fit into a pants pocket or backpack.
The Pro version uses a thicker blade with sharper edges, which ignites even more sparks.

The fire starter really works well :) Every use produces a strong, bright spark. Both the rod and the striker are comfortable to use. The handles are ergonomically made and look elegant, with an even texture. Wildo is not the cheapest fire starter, but it looks solid and not cheap. The rod might not be as long and thick as, for example, in ZA-PAS or Hultafors, but its size fits perfectly in the rubber sheath for the Leatherman ARC holster, and the striker fits ideally in the compartment. The striker deserves a mention – although it's simple, it works great. I used it with both the Wildo rod and the Hultafors, and every time I got a similar effect – lots of sparks. What's more, the old NATO magnesium rod also produced a strong burst of sparks when using the Wildo striker. In summary, I definitely recommend it.

It's not the most comfortable to hold, but it works amazingly and produces a lot of sparks. Even though the price is high, it's worth every penny. The only downside is the short cord.

I had the opportunity to use this fire starter during one of the training sessions. Flawless—the equipment is simply excellent and worth every penny. I definitely recommend it!

The Wildo fire starter is a very solid product—this is another item from this brand that I've purchased and I highly recommend it. It produces a lot of sparks, and the scraper works perfectly.

The price is quite high, but the fire starter works perfectly both as the main tool for starting a fire and as a backup. I recommend it to everyone – you won't find a better fire starter.

The Wildo Fire-Flash Pro Large lime fire starter is of very high quality. It works great for lighting a campfire, even in difficult weather conditions. All you need is good tinder and success is guaranteed. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Average quality ergonomics of the striker and handle. The rod is similar to the one from LMF. The price is relatively high. Other than that, it's fine. For me, it's second place after LMF. Swedish fire starters are the best.

This is a great fire starter, probably the best available in Poland. The striker really has no competition – it's worth paying a few extra zlotys for this quality. I recommend it.

Very good equipment. Both the fire starter and the scraper work great. It's not the cheapest, but after the first use you can see what you're paying for. The rod is thick enough that it won't break easily.

The thick rod makes a difference – I used to think all fire starters were the same, but I also had a Badger fire starter and it’s a completely different level. It’s worth paying extra for Wildo: the rod wears out slower and produces lots of sparks with almost no effort, plus it has an excellent scraper.

There's no need to hesitate, it's worth buying! The thick rod will last a long time, and it's well attached to the plastic handle. The scraper has sharp edges that produce great sparks. The bright color of the handle makes it hard to lose in the grass.

This is my second fire starter and so far the best. The scraper is great—comfortable handle, long, and with a very sharp edge that generates sparks excellently. The rod is solid and will definitely last a long time. It produces a lot of sparks, and materials ignite quickly. The product is aesthetically packaged and connected with a string. I think it's worth spending more on it.

I got this fire starter as a gift—an amazing product, and the scraper really makes the biggest difference. If you're sensitive to bright light, you should wear glasses, because it can really shine brightly with a good strike.

Excellent fire starter. The thick rod lasts for many uses. The scraper with a sharp tip works very well. It generates lots of sparks. The bright color makes it easy to find the equipment. I recommend it!
