I chose this mat because of its lightness – I wanted it to be comfortable to carry in a backpack. However, I have a complaint about the term "self-inflating" in the name and description, because you have to inflate it manually. The valve never helped with inflating, and the foam doesn't expand by itself. Fortunately, it only takes a short time to inflate it. I have no comments about the material quality.
