The crampons worked great during a hike in the Polish mountains at an altitude of just under 1,400 meters above sea level in April. In some places, the snow was quite deep; in others, it was just above the ankles. The difference in stability when walking with crampons and without them is huge. The product definitely made it easier to move around in the snow and gave an advantage over people who walked without this equipment and had difficulty maintaining balance on slippery surfaces, even when it was relatively flat. Even descending steep sections, I had no issue with slipping. Thanks to the crampons, I didn't lose as much energy in tough conditions. I definitely recommend them to anyone who doesn't want an extra balance workout during winter trekking :) Size "L" fit well on men's trekking boots, size 43, from a well-known brand starting with the letter "Q". You can see in the photo that I even left the attached size tag. They fit quite tightly, but held securely. I had no problems with them slipping off my boots. I considered choosing a model with more spikes, but it turned out this number was sufficient, and since there were fewer, I spent less money and the product was lighter – which I also consider an advantage : )

Functional hiking crampons designed for less demanding trails, such as lowland trails, the Beskids, the Giant Mountains, the Tatra valleys or city sidewalks. They increase traction on icy surfaces and aid stability on slippery ground. They are not suitable for climbing or hiking in higher elevations.
