Viking Kanion Gaiters - Black

Gaiters protect the legs and footwear from moisture, mud, snow, and small debris getting inside the boots. They are made of waterproof polyester with water resistance rated at 1500 mm H2O, making them suitable for trekking, mountain hiking, and outdoor activities. A zipper, snap, drawstring, and adjustable strap under the sole allow the gaiters to be fitted to footwear quickly and securely.

The gaiters are made from 100% polyester. The material features low moisture absorption and effectively limits water penetration into the inside, helping keep trousers and socks in better condition when walking in the rain, through wet grass, or over muddy ground. The waterproof membrane used increases protection against moisture while also creating an additional barrier against snow, sand, conifer needles, and other small debris. This makes the gaiters suitable for use both during the rainy season and on winter outings.

The gaiters are equipped with an adjustable drawstring that allows the upper section to be fitted to the calf circumference. The zipper allows for quick putting on, while an additional snap helps secure the construction and reduces the risk of accidental opening during movement. The lower section is stabilized by an adjustable strap routed under the shoe sole. This solution keeps the gaiters in the proper position and prevents them from riding up when walking over uneven terrain.

The metal hook is designed for attaching to the laces. The reinforced construction improves the stability of the gaiters and helps keep their lower edge close to the footwear, reducing the possibility of moisture and dirt getting in from the upper area.

The reflective element increases the user's visibility in low-light conditions.
