A very good classic – a well-made knife that is excellently sharp right out of the package and stays sharp for a long time. The steel probably has a lot of carbon, which makes the blade durable, although I did notice a slight rust spot on the tip. However, just wiping it carefully fixed the problem.

These knives have been unbeatable in this price class for years. Their quality hasn’t changed for a long time. I have serrated ones over 20 years old and keep buying more – they’re amazing. You shouldn’t wash knives in the dishwasher, not just because of the blade, but also the handle. I once used Action capsules and got stains on 18/10 steel cutlery. Polypropylene or other cheaper materials stain even faster.

As usual with Victorinox, the knife is made very carefully and with attention to every detail. Despite its small size, it has become my main kitchen knife – it’s sharp and comfortable to use. I highly recommend it.

Victorinox does not handle dishwashing too well. What happened to the current knives? I mainly use them for cutting vegetables at home – cutting board, knife, vegetable.
