The Victorinox Alox Synergy X is a beautiful penknife to own. The texture of aluminium scales give it a timeless premium feel. I find the pocket clip to be just the right balance of flexibility and sturdiness. The main blade lock is on the stiff side but that adds to the feel of safety when it engages.

The Swiss Army knife is solidly made, as expected from Victorinox products, but unfortunately there are two things that I don't like. What's worse, these were actually the main reasons for my purchase. First, the clip is too loose and I've already lost it from my pocket a couple of times. Second, the blade lock, in my opinion, is not very convenient to close, although maybe that's just my impression.

I have long dreamed of a Vixa knife in such a set with Alox. It's my favorite to carry in my pocket. It meets all the EDC requirements and has all the necessary functions. The price is also excellent – I haven't found a better one!
