Varusteleka L1 Balaclava Merino Thermal Balaclava - Black
Thermal balaclava with a single opening, made from high-quality Merino wool and polyester with a grammage of 180 g/m2, supporting optimal thermal comfort. It effectively covers the mouth, nose, neck, and chin. The anatomical fit and flat seam enhance wearing comfort.
This model belongs to Varusteleka's first clothing layer (L1 Base Layer), whose role is to wick moisture and maintain comfort when worn directly against the skin. Suitable both for intense activity in warmer conditions and as a base layer in winter.
Light and breathable Merino wool, durable polyester
The balaclava is made from a blend of Merino wool (80%) and polyester (20%) with a grammage of 180 g/m2. The Merino wool used effectively wicks moisture from the skin surface and supports proper thermal comfort as well as very good breathability. The material also stands out for its antibacterial properties and reduces the formation of unpleasant odors. The polyester blend improves tear resistance.
The fabric is exceptionally soft and does not cause skin irritation, while at the same time, despite its delicacy, it is characterized by high resistance to damage and pilling.
Fitted cut, ventilation flap, and flat seams
The anatomical shape, flat seams, and adjustable eye opening increase wearing comfort. All edges have been bound and properly secured, which reduces the risk of chafing and excessive stretching of the material. The seams used in the balaclava are flat, so they do not cause rubbing. The fitted cut makes the model suitable for wear under a helmet or hard hat.
