Decent technical material. The sweatshirt is comfortable, doesn't cause overheating, and doesn't restrict movement. As a volunteer firefighter, I like buying such accessories. Is it effective? It's hard to say, but I'm glad I have it.

Fire-resistant balaclava in Black shade is designed in the form of a sleeve made from a combination of modacrylic (68%), Lyocell (29%), and elastane (3%). It provides effective protection for the head and neck against wind, dust, sun, low temperatures, and moisture caused by intense physical exertion.
Fire-resistant material, tapered design
The fabric used in the scarf is flame-resistant (due to the content of modacrylic fibers), meaning it does not sustain flames and does not melt, enhancing the level of protection in hazardous conditions (e.g., technical work, outdoor activities, service operations). A blend of Lyocell (cellulose fiber) ensures excellent breathability, efficient moisture absorption, softness, comfort to the touch, and good draping on the skin. A minimal amount of elastane provides additional elasticity, allowing for an ideal fit to the shape of the neck or head without restricting movement. This combination of materials makes the scarf comfortable even for long-term wear.
Various applications

You can immediately tell that this is not an ordinary scarf – the material is noticeably thicker and more solid, but at the same time remains soft and comfortable. It sits well on the neck and doesn't require constant adjusting. Even after prolonged wear, it doesn't cause discomfort, which is a big advantage for such products. However, the biggest asset is the noticeable feeling of greater safety compared to traditional scarves. Admittedly, I haven't tested its fire resistance and I hope there won't be a need to.
