Thanks to Trigalight technology, based on tritium tubes placed on the hands and dial, the watch operates in low light or absence of light. Bright green and orange Trigalight illumination offers constant light with high intensity without any need for activation. The luminescent lighting can glow for up to 25 years.

Arabic numerals on the dial, compass scale geographic direction markings, and the gasket under the glass are coated with phosphorescent compound Super LumiNova, which absorbs and emits light for about an hour after exposure.
