Origin and Beginnings of the Brand
The Traser brand was founded in Switzerland in 1989 by the company MB-Microtec. It was created in response to an order from the United States Army, which needed a watch that met rigorous military standards, guaranteeing easy time reading in any conditions, regardless of time of day or weather. The first produced model was the P6500 Type 6, which was tested and used by American soldiers. This watch was equipped with innovative GTLS (Gaseous Tritium Light Sources) technology, also known as Trigalight®.
