Tigerwood camp tarp in Black, crafted from lightweight, damage-resistant, waterproof polyamide. An integrated thermal insulation layer enhances comfort in cooler conditions and reflects sunlight to lower temperatures beneath the tarp in warmer weather.

Durable polyamide construction, thermal insulation layer

The lightweight polyamide material weighs 60 g/m2 and offers water resistance of 3500 mm/m2—a pressure from a 3.5-meter water column will not result in leakage. Thermal insulation aids in temperature regulation across different weather conditions, and taped seams boost both durability and water-tightness of the tarp.

Versatile and easy to use

The tarp is equipped with 19 attachment points, allowing for quick and flexible shelter setup in the field. Reinforced loops make it easy to reconfigure the tarp into an A-frame tent, improvised tipi, or wide overhead canopy. The ability to tension guy lines without anchoring them to the ground reduces the risk of tripping after dark.

    I got the tarp as a gift from 'Santa.' Very well made, as expected from TW. Tested in winter with sub-zero temperatures and snow – it performed excellently. I read that TW tarps let water in, but nothing like that happened to me. I'll wait for more rain, but judging by the craftsmanship, I don't expect any problems. I'm very satisfied!

    If anyone is considering buying, I recommend getting rid of the wooden plaque – this will make the cover even lighter. The tarp itself is made very solidly. On my scale, it weighed 656g. Now it’s waiting for testing in the fall.

    What sets this tarp apart is the solid material with slightly higher waterproofing than standard models, plus the extra thermal insulation layer. Unfortunately, my overall opinion is lower due to the low durability of the guylines – in about 52 km/h wind, one of them broke. I recommend it for rainy but windless days.

    In comparison to a bivy poncho from a typical outdoor store, this tarp is much lighter and can be compressed to a smaller size after folding. Thanks to the large number of attachments, it can be set up in any configuration. The thermal insulation layer noticeably increases comfort in closed shelters. The downside is the shiny surface, which you need to keep in mind if you care about discretion – although it can also be used in emergencies to signal your presence. The thermal insulation layer may be even more visible than the orange color. In summary, a product worth recommending and worth its price.
