Ticks utilize the Haller’s organ on their front legs to locate hosts. Device operation
Activating the device occurs by removing the tab, which switches it on. LED flashes indicate it is operational. Deactivation is not possible, and its lifespan is at least 6 months. To check the battery level, press the button – if the LED beneath the grille flashes four times, the device is working correctly. Fewer flashes suggest replacement is necessary.
Attach TickLess to the collar with the grille facing the animal's body to allow proper distribution of the ultrasonic waves.

I've been using this model for two years for two dogs together with Fiprex on the skin. Since then, I haven't had to remove any embedded ticks—sometimes I find a tick walking on the dog, but it doesn't burrow into the skin. It's worth remembering that ticks are active at around +7°C, so they can appear even in a warm February. According to the instructions, the device is not suitable for bathing in the sea. The CR2032 replacement battery is easy to buy and replace, and the Tickless can be opened because the housing is not glued.

In my opinion, the device works. However, due to the high price (outside of promotions) and the fact that it works for me for 7-8 months and is single-use, it's worth thinking carefully before buying. After that period it becomes electronic waste. The product should be designed so you can replace the battery. Then it would make sense ecologically as well.
