TickLess – ultrasonic tick protection is a small, portable gadget that emits ultrasonic waves at a 40 kHz frequency, which are imperceptible to humans and pets.
Ticks can transmit serious diseases such as Lyme disease and tick-borne encephalitis. Utilizing the TickLess device reduces the risk of tick bites and consequently the chance of infection.

Ticks detect hosts using the Haller’s organ on their front legs. Ultrasonic waves at 40 kHz, emitted by the device, disrupt the organ's ability to receive signals. The device functions effectively within a range of about 1.5 meters.
The casing is crafted from biodegradable plastic and has a brown color. Once the device is no longer needed, separate the casing from other parts and dispose of it in a compost bin or bury it, as it will decompose in a few months.
The product complies with the IP13 standard, providing protection against objects larger than 50 mm and withstanding water sprays from different directions at a 60-degree angle.
Device operation
Activating the device involves removing the safety tab, which powers it on. It functions continuously for a minimum of 6 months, lasting until the battery depletes. Attachment is done with a keychain ring.
