This is my second purchase of this scarf and again I'm satisfied – it arrived in perfect condition, with no damage. It's worth mentioning its versatility and that it almost doesn't take up any space in the backpack.
Texar Shemagh - Night Camo
The shemagh-style design in Night Camo is crafted from woven cotton, providing excellent ventilation and ensuring comfort even during prolonged wear. It serves as effective sun protection in the summer and, when folded, can act as an extra layer in cooler weather. The fringes on the edges help prevent fraying.
Commonly known as a keffiyeh or shemagh, the arafat scarf is a traditional Arab accessory— a square piece of fabric, typically made of cotton, that can be folded and wrapped around the head in multiple ways.
Application possibilities
A scarf proves versatile in various situations, such as shielding the head and shoulders from strong sunlight, providing face coverage in severe weather, and serving as an insulating layer in cold conditions. Its lightweight construction and large size allow it to easily adapt to a range of uses.

For me, it's great. It arrived intact, undamaged, and the camo color matches the photos. I’m not worried it will tear when putting it on. As written in other reviews, the first wash should be done by hand, as it may bleed color.
-
The material of this keffiyeh is surprisingly pleasant to the touch. It’s also large. Nice color and pattern. Worth buying without hesitation at this price.
-
I never doubted that Texar matches foreign brands. The shemagh is of great quality, versatile and available in several colors.
-
The great price-to-quality ratio of this shemagh is its clear advantage. The material is pleasant to the touch and even after several hand washes there are no signs of damage, although I don't use it very often. It can be used in many ways and comes in various colors. It works as a scarf, cap, balaclava, sling, or for filtering water from mechanical impurities. It's one of the most versatile pieces of gear. When folded, it takes up as much space as a regular t-shirt.
-
The shemagh is solidly made, I have been using it for several years and it still works great. The material is durable and does not fray. Definitely worth buying at this price.
-
The shemagh is made very well, although it's not perfect. So far everything works flawlessly and it gives a solid impression. Lots of possible uses – I can't imagine my EDC without it. I recommend it.
-
Excellent combination of price and quality. I used it many times in the field. It protected against the sun and light rain. I wore it different ways and it was always pleasant to the touch. Rolled up under my head it worked well as a pillow. Sometimes I spread my equipment on it so I don’t lose parts in the field. It has become a permanent part of my gear.

The keffiyeh is pleasant to the touch, the color is flawless. The only downside is a loose seam, which makes the material seem delicate, but with reasonable use the product does its job.
-
Very good quality for a reasonable price. I used it during hiking trips, in various weather conditions and at campsites. Large, soft, versatile. Really a useful piece of equipment.
-
Its biggest advantage is undoubtedly the attractive price. For this amount, the workmanship is really decent. The material is thin, the scarf is large, and extremely versatile. It can be used as face protection, a head covering, or even an improvised sling. When folded, it takes up less space than a T-shirt.
-
Great keffiyeh—it keeps you warm in winter and protects well in summer. Very nice pattern and color matches the photo. Doesn't fray, doesn't fade, and doesn't stain skin or clothes. I definitely prefer it over a classic scarf in winter.
-
The pattern, color, and the scarf itself are all just fine. After more than two years of use, threads have started to come out of the fringes, but I don't consider that a serious drawback. For this price, it's hard to find something better. I recommend it.
-
The scarf is very versatile, color is practically as shown in the picture. Be careful before the first wash, as the material bleeds color – it's best to wash it by hand.
-
Very comfortable, easy to arrange. It's not thick, so you can even use it on hot days. The material is strong and does not rub off under a backpack.
