UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage design that emerged early in the 21st century to succeed US Woodland and Desert patterns. It integrates camouflage capabilities across diverse environments, including forests, deserts, and urban settings, using shades of green and beige combined with gray. The arrangement of spots is inspired by the MARPAT pattern, and the pastel, low-contrast colors form a pixelated micro-pattern. The cap is very successful, it's comfortable to wear and it's fashionable. This model, used by the US Army, works better than a peaked cap because it fits the head better and dries faster. Highly recommend – great quality.

A good cap at an affordable price. I chose it mainly because of the camouflage. The visor is shorter than in Helikon. However, Helikon offers better adjustment and seems to have a larger size range. The Texar cap I received fit a head with a circumference up to 58 cm, which surprised me because many reviews suggested it was a larger model.

The cap was bought for my dad, it looks good and is carefully sewn, although the brim is shorter than in Helikon brand caps. The size surprised me a bit – at full adjustment, it fits a maximum circumference of 59cm, while Helikon products offer a wider range. I also don't think it's as deep as some other reviews suggest. Everyone has a different head, so that's probably why the opinions differ.
