Texar MA-1 Flyers Jacket - Olive

I usually wear size L, but the jacket is quite wide in the cut, so I decided on M and it was a bull’s-eye. Well-made jacket, not too thick, color as expected.

This is already my second such jacket – I have a black one, now I ordered an olive one, and after five years it’s still holding up. A plus for a good neck collar, and in winter it works great, as a bomber jacket should.

The jacket is well made and pleasant. The only downside is the zipper – some people mentioned it gets stuck, and for me, it sometimes opens on its own because it doesn’t have a lock. You can prevent this by catching the zipper inside the protective flap, though it’s not convenient. Sizing is understated – if you usually wear L, take L as I did and it fits well. If I had chosen based on the size chart from the offer, the jacket would have been far too small. I am 182 cm tall and weigh 85 kg – L fits.

At first I ordered size S, but it was too small, so I exchanged it for M, which fits perfectly. Super warm jacket, perfect for winter. I like that the Flyers has an orange side – it's like having two models in one. Great price, fast delivery!

Very good jacket, but I advise taking a smaller size, as it is quite roomy. Well-made, it works great as a lightweight yet warm jacket for the transitional period – I recommend it!

Size L for 179 cm and 98 kg is suitable. The jacket is well made, although it doesn’t resemble those from the 90s. A minus is the zipper being too delicate and the cuffs being thin. If I had to choose between Alpha and Texar, I would choose the latter – the price is reasonable, and Alpha disappointed me. Overall, I recommend this purchase.

It has fashionable, practical pockets and looks good with a turtleneck or fleece. Excellent for cooler spring, autumn, and mild winters, unless there’s a frost. I ordered on Sunday, and on Monday the jacket was already with me! Fits perfectly, very comfortable. I'm 179 cm/76 kg and size M is just right. The jacket is warm and sturdy, I don't even take it off in stores.

I've worn the jacket a few times and already noticed that the zippers are poor quality and move when the jacket is unzipped. There is an immediate problem with fastening, and you can see pilling on the sleeves. Unfortunately, despite the attractive price, I do not recommend it.

Very good quality jacket. This is already my second one – the previous one lasted me 10 years. I have a fondness for the 90s. The sizing matches: XL is perfect for 185 cm and 92 kg. Once again, I am not disappointed. I recommend it.

Very good jacket. For a height of 176 cm and a weight of 76 kg, size S/M fits great; size L is too big. The workmanship is of a high standard, and I’ve compared it with Mil Tec – both are worth recommending, though the Mil Tec is a bit shorter and more padded. For this price, the quality is really high.

The jacket is lightweight but keeps you warm despite not having a thick layer. The zipper is metal and sturdy. The Flyers is comfortable and durable. The only downside is a somewhat strange cut at the shoulders where the jacket sticks out. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Everything matches the description, the only flaws: the zipper often gets stuck and there's no zippers on the pockets. The inner pockets could be bigger. Still, the material is pleasant and keeps warmth well.
