It is indeed shorter than competing models, but that is exactly what I wanted. It covers the waistband while not coming down too low on the thighs. It does not leave my back exposed to drafts, and the front pockets are positioned at the right height. At this point, it is working well as a fleece for all-day work.

The fleece is very well made, sewn from solid material and provides warmth effectively. It works well as an outer layer. I used it in temperatures of -15°C and it did its job, although of course I had something else on underneath. One drawback is the Velcro cuff, which wears out over time and practically stops offering any adjustability.

The fleece was purchased as a sweatshirt for the spring and autumn period (used as an outer layer). So that the sweatshirt would not be too loose, I chose size S for a height of 176 cm and a weight of 78 kg. It fits well. The material is pleasant and soft to the touch. The workmanship is very precise. The hood lays nicely on the back. If I had to point out any downsides, I would mention the stiff Velcro panels on the shoulders and the hard, rubbery Velcro wrist adjusters. The sweatshirt is also quite short, which makes it easier to access pockets, but not everyone may like that. Overall, I am satisfied with the purchase and can recommend this sweatshirt.

I will share my opinion: on the plus side, the material is really pleasant and provides pretty good protection against the cold. Unfortunately, when it comes to the negatives, there are a few – the fit around the chest area is still fine, but further down the sweatshirt widens by about 3 centimeters, giving it a trapezoid shape, which doesn't look very good. The sleeves with velcro straps are very stiff; I hope they'll soften over time. Besides that, the sleeves are so long that they almost reach the ankles when your arms are down. Compared to the Helikon fleece, that one is definitely better quality.

For me, this fleece is an absolute hit! I had been searching for the perfect one for a long time and the Texar Husky met my expectations. It's very warm and at the same time very comfortable. I like the high collar and the practical hood with a gentle brim. During a several-hour walk on a cloudy day in Opole, I didn't feel cold even for a moment, and the temperature was just right. The pockets on the sleeves are a great idea. Size L fits me perfectly at 185 cm tall and about 80 kg in weight.

I've been using the fleece for over 4 years now and I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The price is adequate to the quality. The hood protects well against the wind, zippers under the arms provide good ventilation, there are also pockets on the shoulders and a large internal chest pocket. The fabric is pleasant to the touch and really warm. I definitely recommend it.
