Tasmanian Tiger Modular Daypack L Backpack 18 l - Olive

An 18 l backpack in Coyote Brown, designed for evacuation use, survival, EDC, and as a medical pack. It is made from durable Cordura 700D coated with a hydrophobic DWR finish. The spacious compartment and practically arranged pockets improve equipment organization, while the adjustable carry system allows the backpack to be fitted to the user’s build.

Cordura 700D, DWR finish

The backpack is made from Cordura 700D, distinguished by high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and mechanical damage. The material performs well during intensive use and frequent contact with the ground and carried equipment. The outer layer is covered with a hydrophobic PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish, which limits moisture absorption.

Spacious main compartment, 3 pockets

The model is equipped with a spacious main compartment, accessed via a two-way zipper. Pull tabs at the ends allow convenient operation even while wearing gloves. Inside the main compartment are velcro panels for attaching additional organizers and configuring the interior to suit individual needs. Inside there are also adjustable attachment points, a pocket for scissors, a pocket for disposable gloves, and a large detachable pocket on the inner side of the flap. In addition, the backpack has 3 pockets: one on the front and two side pockets intended for a water bottle, food thermos, or map.

Adjustable carry system

The adjustable shoulder straps allow the backpack to be fitted to the user’s height and build. The adjustable chest strap makes it possible to set both the height and width, improving load stability during movement and field activities. The carry handle makes the backpack easier to carry and lift.

MOLLE/PALS system, compression straps

The front features laser-cut openings in the MOLLE/PALS standard, allowing attachment of additional pouches, utility pockets, and other compatible pieces of equipment. The front velcro panel allows attachment of insignia such as a national flag, unit emblem, or Morale Patch.

The backpack is equipped with compression straps that allow its volume to be reduced depending on the amount of carried equipment. The straps can also be used to securely attach gear on the outside, for example a jacket, tarp, or sleeping pad.

Velcro

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

DWR feature
DWR

DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

Laser Cut System feature
Laser Cut System

LCS (Laser Cut System) is a new version of the assembly used in the MOLLE system, where instead of traditional tapes, laser-cut holes are used directly in the material. The system is much lighter than standard sewn-on PALS tapes and guarantees better camouflage. The holes are hemmed with thread to prevent fuzzing and ripping, or, as in the case of Cordura, the laser-cut edges are fused.
