Steiner Nighthunter C35 Thermal Clip-On

The thermal imaging clip-on by Steiner Optik is designed for use in combination with a rifle scope mounted on a weapon. The C35 model offers digital magnification in the 1- 8x range. The 35 mm objective lens allows detection of a vehicle from as far as 4400 m.

The image is displayed on a color OLED display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, which shows an image with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 50 Hz. Convenient use of the device is aided by a built-in stadiametric rangefinder and the option to display the image in one of 6 color modes (White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Fire, Adjustable Red and Amber).

The clip-on is equipped with USB Type-C and Micro HDMI ports, which enable external power supply, transfer of saved data, or playback of saved materials on an external screen. The clip-on features built-in 16 GB memory, which makes it possible to save video and photos recorded while using the device. The built-in WiFi module allows the clip-on to communicate with the dedicated Steiner Connect App.

The clip-on is powered by an 18650 rechargeable battery, which allows continuous operation for up to 4.5 hours. The clip-on is mounted to the optical sight using adapters matching the outer diameter of the rifle scope objective lens (not included in the set).

The device body is made of lightweight and durable aluminum, and proper sealing of the entire unit provides water resistance compliant with the IP67 standard.
