Steiner Commander 7x50 Binoculars are a top-tier optical instrument, upholding the tradition of the renowned Commander series marine binoculars. Favored by sailors globally, both seasoned and novice, they offer superior image quality and outstanding durability.

With a 50 mm objective lens and 7x magnification, they provide a broad field of view – 145 m, simplifying the observation of expansive horizons. The Porro prism system delivers a more stereoscopic and three-dimensional image, offering greater depth compared to the more compact roof prism binoculars. Designed for use in tricky lighting and night-time conditions, their performance is exceptional.

The Steiner Commander 7x50 incorporates advanced technologies such as Steiner High-Definition-Optics, producing clear, high-contrast images even in dim light. The Diamond-Marine coating enhances light transmission, and Steiner Nano-Protection makes the lenses resistant to dirt, water, and other environmental challenges. With a nitrogen-filled body at 14 psi, fogging is not an issue, and a temperature endurance from -40°C to 80°C ensures reliable performance in harsh surroundings.

The Makrolon housing offers shock resistance and corrosion resistance, perfect for the strenuous marine conditions. ErgoFlex eyecups mitigate the effects of side light and wind, improving comfort. The Memory-Ocular feature allows for individual diopter settings to be stored, while the Comfort-Grip system enhances ergonomics, making prolonged observations more comfortable.

The ClicLoc system provides quick attachment of the binoculars to a strap for added security. A floating strap prevents sinking, and the NBR coating on the housing shields against adverse weather. The Sport-Auto-Focus maintains sharp images without constant adjustments.

Built to perform in extreme conditions, the Steiner Commander 7x50 offers reliability and excellent image quality during viewing.

Great binoculars for sailing. It has such features as a compass and a very clear image—on par with Leica, Zeiss, or Swarovski. The image is also very sharp after dusk.
