Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern designed in 2002 by the US company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior program. The aim was to develop a multi-purpose camouflage pattern that performs effectively across diverse terrains and shifting environmental settings. The MultiCam pattern includes seven colors, producing seamless transitions among shades of green, brown, and beige. This enables it to blend with the background dynamically, reflecting green tones in wooded areas or brown and beige hues in desert landscapes. In Central and Eastern European regions, it functions exceptionally well in autumn or with dry vegetation. MultiCam has achieved global acclaim, being adopted by numerous military and special forces units. In 2010, this camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army for soldiers deployed in Afghanistan, taking the place of the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). It is also available for civilian use and is a popular choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
