Temperatures and usage conditions

Sleeping bag Softie 9 temperature ratings in accordance with EN 13537:

  • T-comfort: -5 deg. C – the minimum temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night.
  • T-extreme: -10 deg. C – the lowest temperature at which survival inside the sleeping bag is feasible. Not advised for frequent usage.

Paratex Steelplate construction, Paratex Light lining

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is crafted from Paratex Steelplate, ensuring excellent breathability, strong wind resistance, and remarkable moisture protection due to the DWR impregnation (Durable Water Repellency). In the morning dew, moisture gathers on the surface without penetrating the sleeping bag. The interior is designed with Paratex Light – a soft-fabric structured textile with high wind resistance and an air permeability of 12l/m2/24h. Outstanding breathability prevents any moisture accumulation inside caused by the condensation of body heat in cooler conditions.

The foot section includes reinforced fabric, enhancing insulation and allowing for sleeping with footwear without fear of damage. Additionally, there are two small loops for convenient hanging and airing of the sleeping bag.

Softie Premier filling

The inside features Softie Premier insulation, providing warmth even when wet. Its soft texture offers a comfortable feel. The distinctive fiber design supports both hand washing and machine washing.

Zipper on the left side, thermal strip

The sleeping bag features a two-way YKK zipper on the left side, with an internal draft tube designed to prevent fabric snagging and minimize heat loss. It's compatible with another sleeping bag with an opposite side zipper to form a double version.

Cold-protecting hood

The hood is anatomically crafted to offer enhanced protection against heat loss from the head. Tightening the drawstring reduces heat loss, boosting comfort in colder environments.

Convenient transport and storage

Transporting and storing this model is convenient. When packed, its dimensions are 21 x 19 cm and it weighs 1500 g, making it effortless to carry without adding much to your luggage weight.
