Temperatures and conditions of use

The operating temperatures of the Snugpak Nautilus sleeping bag specified in accordance with EN 13537:

  • T-comfort: +3 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
  • T-limit: -2 degrees Celsius - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
  • T-extreme: -14 degrees Celsius - the lowest temperature at which survival in the sleeping bag is possible. This is not a value recommended for standard use.

Hydrophobic Aqualight fabric, synthetic Isofibre fill

The outer layer of the sleeping bag is made of durable 190T polyester in the form of Aqualight fabric with hydrophobic properties. Insulation is provided by the synthetic Isofibre silicone material, whose structure stores warmed air in the cavities of the fibers. The hood is equipped with an elastic drawcord, allowing it to be tightened around the face.

Two-way zipper on the right side, sleeping bags can be joined

The model is equipped with a two-way zipper positioned on the right side, which makes getting in and out easier. There is an insulating baffle next to the zipper to reduce cold penetration into the interior. It also protects the fabric from snagging during opening and closing. Two sleeping bags with zippers on opposite sides can be joined without zipping up the lower section.

Convenient transport and storage

The model is convenient to transport and store. When packed, the sleeping bag measures 24 x 20 cm and weighs 1400 g, making it easy to carry without excessively burdening your luggage.

    The sleeping bag is very comfortable, made of pleasant material. It is warm, comfortable, and does not restrict movement. The only drawback is its size when packed – unfortunately, I wasn't able to compress it to the dimensions shown in the photo. It's light, but you should keep its bulk in mind, especially when planning to pack it in a smaller backpack (<60L).

    The envelope-shaped sleeping bag is extremely light and comfortable, providing a relaxing sleep. The carry bag has drawstrings that allow you to significantly reduce the size of the sleeping bag. The temperature range from -2 to +3 degrees meets my expectations. I definitely recommend it.

    When packed, the sleeping bag takes up little space, which makes transport much easier. There is a bit of room in the sleeping bag, which I personally really appreciate. It also provides proper thermal insulation while sleeping.
