Smith's portable sharpener with two sharpening surfaces simplifies the process of honing any knife with a straight, smooth edge, as well as items like arrowheads.
The plate is coated with monocrystalline diamond dust with a Fine 750 (orange color) gradation, ideal for proper sharpening or touching up slightly dull tools. It efficiently sharpens even very hard steel. Oval holes in the plates capture metal debris formed during sharpening, ensuring uninterrupted and clean contact between the edge being sharpened and the diamond. The sharpener is intended for use either dry or with a minimal amount of water.
The carbide blades, featuring a "V" shape and Coarse gradation, deliver rapid sharpening of the cutting edge with just 3-4 strokes. These blades are also perfect for sharpening arrowheads or bolts.
The handle, slightly contoured, is made from lightweight aluminum to provide a secure grip and comfort during use.
The whetstone includes a black nylon case that fastens with Velcro.
