Silky Pocketboy Curve 130-8 saw blade crafted from high-quality Japanese steel. It features an additional chrome layer for protection against rust, wood sap, resin, and other detrimental external elements. A slightly curved blade profile enhances cutting speed, thus boosting efficiency.
The cutting edge is designed to be hard, strong, and flexible, minimizing the risk of blade damage during use. Impulse-hardened teeth offer extended durability. These teeth are set in four planes, and due to precise sharpening, they produce a smooth surface, ensuring the saw blade operates without wedging.
Eight teeth are found every 30 mm of the blade. The cutting section boasts a distinct hourglass-shaped cross-section, resulting in smooth surfaces post-cutting that are free of jagged edges. One uniquely angled tooth faces upward to expedite swirl clearance. Patented MIRAI-ME technology enables cutting in three directions: across, along, and diagonally.
Store the blade in a clean, dry location.

Silky is a Japanese manufacturer of hand saws with a long tradition, dating back to 1919, when Katsuji Miyawaki founded the company in the city of Ono. For over a century, the brand has gained a reputation for reliability and precision, and its tools are distinguished by their exceptional quality. The saws are made of the highest quality steel and undergo impulse hardening technology, which, combined with a design intended for ‘pull’ cutting, ensures smooth operation and precise, clean cuts. In 1980, Silky patented its own saw setting process, which significantly increases the sharpness of the tools – this solution has been used in the 4-Retsume and Miraime2 models, among others. The Japanese manufacturer's solutions are used by professionals around the world: arborists, foresters, carpenters and bushcraft enthusiasts. It is worth mentioning that in 1985, the ‘Gomboy’ model was the first on the market to feature a rubber-coated handle, which contributed to it winning the prestigious Japanese Good Design Award. Thanks to the combination of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and modern technological solutions, Silky has been one of the leading manufacturers of hand saws for years.
