Silky Bigboy 360-10 saw blade crafted from high-quality Japanese steel. It features an additional chrome coating to shield it from rust, wood sap, resin, and other detrimental external factors.
The cutting edge balances hardness, strength, and flexibility, reducing blade damage while cutting. Impulse-hardened teeth provide an extended lifespan and are set in four planes. Their precision sharpening results in a smooth surface, making the saw blade resist wedging.
Each 30 mm section of the blade holds 10 teeth. The cutting area exhibits a unique hourglass-shaped cross-section, ensuring a smooth, jag-free surface after cutting. An upward-directed tooth aids in rapid clearing of shavings. The patented MIRAI-ME technology enables cuts in three directions: transverse, longitudinal, and diagonal.
Store the blade in a clean and dry location.

Silky is a Japanese manufacturer of hand saws with a long tradition, with origins dating back to 1919, when Katsuji Miyawaki founded the company in the city of Ono. For over one hundred years, the brand has built a reputation for reliability and precision, and its tools stand out for exceptional build quality. The saws are made from top-grade steel and use impulse hardening of the teeth (impulse hardening), which, combined with a design intended for "pull" cutting, ensures smooth operation and precise, clean cuts. In 1980, Silky patented its proprietary saw setting process, which significantly increases tool sharpness — this solution was used, among others, in the 4-Retsume and Miraime2 models. The Japanese manufacturer's solutions are used by professionals worldwide: arborists, foresters, carpenters, and bushcraft enthusiasts. It is worth mentioning that in 1985 the "Gomboy" model was the first on the market to receive a rubber-coated handle, which contributed to winning the prestigious Japanese Good Design Award. Thanks to the combination of traditional Japanese craftsmanship and modern technological solutions, Silky has ranked among the leading hand saw manufacturers for years.
