This is an excellent water filter that works well in any backpack during all kinds of trips—whether short ones for camping or hiking in the mountains, as well as longer treks or emergency situations. The Sawyer Mini weighs only about 57 g, is very light and compact, so it doesn't add extra burden, while providing excellent filtration of bacteria and protozoa thanks to a 0.1-micron membrane.
