Savotta Varjelus Side Armour Bags Side Pocket for Ballistic Insert - MultiCam 2 szt.

Set of two side pouches in MultiCam camouflage, designed for the Varjelus vest. The pouches were developed for carrying FDF M17 Cut ballistic panels measuring 22.5 x 14 cm. The set includes two pouches (for the left and right side). Attachment to the cummerbund panels is done using hook-to-loop tape.

Ballistic panels are not included in the set.

durable 500D Cordura, NIR technology

The pouch is made of 500D Cordura, which stands out for its high resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The dense weave of the material increases its durability and reduces its susceptibility to tearing during intensive use. The fabric structure also makes cleaning easier and limits moisture absorption, which is important during operations in changing weather conditions. The part that rests against the body is made of Cordura Comfort, which increases carrying comfort and reduces the risk of irritation during prolonged use. NIR technology (Near Infrared Reflectance) makes detection by residual light amplifiers (night vision devices) more difficult.

Compatibility with ballistic inserts

The pouches are prepared for carrying soft FDF M17 cut ballistic panels measuring 22.5 × 14 cm and with NIJ IIIA protection class. In addition, they are equipped with special openings for routing cables. This solution makes it easier to organize cables from communication systems, electronic devices, or other equipment mounted on the vest.

Hook-to-loop system

The hook-to-loop mounting system allows the pouch to be securely attached to the cummerbund belt of the Varjelus vest. This solution makes it easier to match the side protection to an individual equipment configuration and also allows the pouch to be quickly detached when needed.

multicam camouflage

MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a universal camouflage pattern effective in diverse terrain and changing environmental conditions.

The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. Thanks to this, it effectively adapts to the background, taking on shades of green in forest terrain or browns and beiges in desert areas - in the conditions of Central and Eastern Europe, it performs particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained recognition worldwide and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the U.S. Army as the pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.

Savotta

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Savotta.

Savotta is a Finnish family company from Karstula that has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents, and field gear for the military, rescue services, and people who value outdoor trips since 1955. The brand's gear has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces continuously since the 1960s, meeting the strict standards required for military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it uses top-grade materials such as Cordura, and nearly all raw materials (97%) come from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider fast adjustment system, frames made from polyethylene sheets, and laser-cut mounting points in the PALS/MOLLE standard. Every design is created in Finland, and the manufacturing of the gear remains entirely within the European Union. Along with growing interest, the brand expanded its production - since 2025, its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia, and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was made, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
