Savotta Varjelus 3x2 AR15-AK Placard Panel with Magazine Pouches - MultiCam
Panel in MultiCam camouflage designed for mounting on the tactical vest Varjelus by Savotta. It is equipped with 3 pouches for AR-15 and AK magazines, and each of them holds up to two magazines. The total capacity is six magazines.
Rectangular compartments with flaps effectively protect the contents from falling out, while adjustable elastic cords allow the compression force to be set for the carried equipment. The model stands out for its damage-resistant construction, made mainly of durable Cordura 1000D.
damage-resistant cordura 1000d
The panel is made of Cordura 1000D, a polyamide fabric with high abrasion resistance, tear resistance, and durability under intensive use. The material remains stable during repeated removal and insertion of magazines, and its stiffness helps maintain the proper shape of each compartment.
Reinforcing and mounting elements are made of polyamide webbing. It is used on the buckles, loops, grip tabs, and attachment points of the carrying system. The webbing stiffens the construction and allows compatible G-hook, Tubes, and ROC buckles to be mounted.
The combination of Cordura 1000D and polyester webbing provides mechanical resistance, stable attachment, and adequate stiffness during use in demanding field conditions.
Reduced visibility in infrared
The model stands out for properties that reduce the signature in the NIR range, meaning near infrared. The materials, dyes, and finishing process were selected to reduce the difference in infrared reflection between the surface of the equipment and the surroundings.
Lower contrast can make quick identification of the equipment more difficult during observation with night vision devices. This applies both to the main fabric and the visible webbing elements, whose NIR reflection properties affect the module's overall signature.
3 double pouches with flaps
The panel is equipped with 3 double pouches. Each holds up to two magazines for AR-15 or AK and features a separate flap closed with velcro and webbing. The flaps secure the magazines against slipping out. The closing height can be adjusted to the type of magazine.
Special elements are placed on the inner side of the flaps, and their purpose is to reduce noise generated when opening the velcro closures. This solution makes it possible to control how the flap is opened and reduces the characteristic sound of velcro being pulled apart. This matters during operations in situations that require discretion.
elastic adjustment cords, drainage holes, webbing loops
The circumference of the compartments and the compression force can be adjusted with an elastic cord. This solution allows the pouch to be fitted to magazines of different shapes and fill levels. After tucking the flap inside the compartment, the cord can be tightened and the pocket used in an open configuration. This setup provides faster access to a single magazine.
There are drainage holes at the bottom of each compartment to allow free water drainage. Behind the flaps are webbing loops through which an elastic cord can be routed and used to stabilize a radio or another item. The lower corners feature grip tabs that make it easier to open the pouch, detach the velcro, and provide a secure support point for the fingers.
stable attachment to equipment
The rear part of the panel is equipped with low-profile G-hook hooks and a large velcro panel, allowing it to be mounted on compatible platforms. This combination provides stable retention of the module while also allowing it to be quickly detached and the equipment configuration to be changed.
The G-hook hooks are attached using heavy-duty webbing, so if necessary they can be replaced with Side Release quick-release buckles. The side loops allow the use of split QR buckles and systems such as Tubes and ROC.

multicam camouflage
MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a universal camouflage pattern effective in diverse terrain and changing environmental conditions.
The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. Thanks to this, it dynamically adapts to the background, taking on green shades in forested terrain or brown and beige shades in desert areas - in the environment of Central and Eastern Europe, it works especially well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained recognition worldwide and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the U.S. Army as a camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among militaria and airsoft enthusiasts.
MILITARY is a premium dealer of Savotta.
Savotta is a Finnish family company from Karstula that has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents, and field gear for the military, rescue services, and people who value outdoor trips since 1955. The brand's gear has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces continuously since the 1960s, meeting the strict standards required for military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it uses top-grade materials such as Cordura, and nearly all raw materials (97%) come from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider fast adjustment system, frames made from polyethylene sheets, and laser-cut mounting points in the PALS/MOLLE standard. Every design is created in Finland, and the manufacturing of the gear remains entirely within the European Union. Along with growing interest, the brand expanded its production - since 2025, its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia, and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was made, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.
Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
