Savotta Valjas 3-Piece Belt Pad - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo

Modular sleeve in M05 Finnish Woodland Camo camouflage, which serves as a universal platform for conveniently carrying essential gear. Made of Cordura and polyester, the exterior surface is equipped with openings for attaching equipment in the PALS system. This sleeve is designed for belts up to 50 mm wide.

Cordura and polyester construction

Model made from 500D Cordura, which is characterized by exceptionally high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and intensive use. This material also provides hydrophobic properties, limiting moisture absorption and enhancing durability in challenging field conditions. Mesh lining made of 100% polyester prevents discomfort even when using rigid pouches and heavy loads. Materials used in production also meet NIR (Near Infrared) requirements, meaning reduced infrared visibility.

Possibility of using suspenders, lightweight

Three-piece construction allows for proper adjustment of the belt to the user's dimensions. The rear part features a PALS attachment system, enabling the secure attachment of additional accessories. The ergonomic shape of the belt ensures comfort during use when combined with a tactical vest. The upper edge is equipped with loops with D-rings, facilitating the connection of the belt with suspenders.

Main features

  • made of durable material
  • lightweight
  • mounting loops for the belt
  • D-rings for attachment to suspenders
  • PALS panel allowing for the installation of additional equipment

M05 camouflage

M05 (Finnish: M05 Maastokuvio) camouflage is a group of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced to the Finnish Defense Forces in 2005 as a successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photos of Finnish forests taken in different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several versions, including woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version M05 consists of patches in shades of light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively reflecting the structure of Finnish forests. Thanks to similar vegetation and terrain conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage is also effective in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in the natural environment.

Savotta

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Savotta.

Savotta is a Finnish family business from Karstula that has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents and field equipment for the military, rescue services and people who value heading out into the wild since 1955. The brand's gear has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces without interruption since the 1960s, meeting the strict standards demanded of military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it reaches for top-tier materials such as Cordura, with almost all of its raw materials (97%) coming from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider quick-adjustment system, frames made of polyethylene plates, and laser-cut PALS/MOLLE attachments. Every design is created in Finland, and the entire manufacturing process remains within the borders of the European Union. As interest has grown, the brand has expanded production - since 2025 its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was made, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
