Savotta Suur-Kukkaro Hip Pack 2.6 l - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo

Waist pack with a capacity of 2.6 l in M05 Finnish Woodland Camo camouflage, made from durable 500D Cordura material. The Suur-Kukkaro model is an enlarged version of the compact Kukkaro waist pack, designed as a universal pouch for carrying equipment in EDC, outdoor, and tactical systems. The design allows for waist carry and integration with other gear elements, such as backpacks or bags.

Durable 500D Cordura fabric

The waist bag is made from 500D Cordura, characterized by high resistance to abrasions, tears, and heavy use. This material also has hydrophobic properties, which reduce moisture absorption and increase durability in challenging conditions. The hip belt is 100% made of polyester. The materials used meet NIR (Near Infrared) standards, limiting visibility in infrared.

Main pocket with internal organizer, velcro panel

The interior of the waist bag is designed with precise equipment organization in mind. The main compartment, closed with a zipper, contains flat pockets and elastic loops that stabilize small items, preventing them from moving during movement. Additional attachment points allow for securing equipment using cords and carabiners.

Velcro panel system allows for the use of modular organizers, increasing flexibility and interior customization. The design also includes a flat pocket on the body side, which can hold the hip belt or integrate with other carrying systems.

The whole is enhanced by drainage holes at the bottom, which drain water and debris in challenging terrain conditions.

MOLLE/PALS system

The waist bag is equipped with straps compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, allowing for the attachment of additional containers and accessories. Additional mounting loops on the sides and compatibility with SR buckles allow for the quick attachment of the pouch to a backpack or other equipment elements. On the front of the waist bag, there is a velcro panel measuring 15 x 10 cm, allowing for the attachment of additional pockets, containers, or patches.

adjustable carrying strap

The carrying system includes a hip belt with a buckle, providing quick and convenient unfastening. Adjustment allows for length customization to individual needs. The maximum belt length is 150 cm.

M05 Camouflage

The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) is a family of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced into the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005 as a successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests taken in different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several variants, such as woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively replicating the structure of Finnish forests. Due to similar vegetation and terrain conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage also performs well in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in natural surroundings.

Savotta

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Savotta.

Savotta is a Finnish family business from Karstula that has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents and field equipment for the military, rescue services and people who value heading out into the wild since 1955. The brand's gear has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces without interruption since the 1960s, meeting the strict standards demanded of military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it reaches for top-tier materials such as Cordura, with almost all of its raw materials (97%) coming from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider quick-adjustment system, frames made of polyethylene plates, and laser-cut PALS/MOLLE attachments. Every design is created in Finland, and the entire manufacturing process remains within the borders of the European Union. As interest has grown, the brand has expanded production - since 2025 its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was made, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

Velcro

The velcro panel is an area with sewn-on Velcro tape that allows easy attachment of various additional items, such as patches or pockets.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

System MOLLE feature
System MOLLE

MOLLE (Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) is a system for attachment of tactical equipment, used for example in backpacks or tactical vests. It provides the possibility of flexible and modular placement of various accessories and pockets, which allows personalization and optimal adjustment of the item to the specific needs of the user. It is widely used by the military, special services and survival and outdoor enthusiasts.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
