Savotta Medic Pack Backpack 18 l - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo

A tactical medical backpack with a capacity of 18 liters designed for transporting and storing essential rescue equipment. It is made from durable and abrasion-resistant Cordura.

The backpack body is made from abrasion-resistant Cordura 1000D, while the remaining elements are made from Cordura 500D. All zippers are equipped with double sliders and large loops to facilitate use while wearing gloves.

The main compartment, measuring 25 x 38 x 12 cm, is secured with two zippers. Full-length opening ensures quick access to the contents during rescue operations. The interior of the rear wall features velcro (loop) panels, allowing the attachment of various organizers, while the inner side of the flap contains two flat mesh pockets with zippers. A large, flat external pocket is located on the front, allowing quick access to frequently used items.

The lower compartment (25 x 14 x 12 cm) is secured with a zipper and two compression straps with SR buckles, designed for storing larger equipment pieces. It can be completely flattened if needed.

Both the main and lower compartments have drainage holes that facilitate water or snow removal in challenging field conditions.

The backpack is equipped with the PALS webbing system on the front and sides, allowing for the attachment of additional pouches and accessories. On both sides, there are double compression straps with SR buckles, which can also function as quick equipment attachment points.

On the front, there is a rectangular velcro panel measuring 15 x 10 cm, allowing for the attachment of any patch or emblem, such as a flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches. The panel is also adorned with a velcro medical cross.

Ergonomic, shaped shoulder straps with soft padding are equipped with steel D-rings, allowing them to rotate and adjust to the user's body. The sternum strap with an SR buckle is adjustable or completely removable. The backpack additionally features a transport handle on top with velcro fastening and side handles on both sides. On the back is an open pocket for a foam insert made from closed-cell foam, supporting the spine and that can serve as a kneeling or sitting mat.

The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) is a family of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced into the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005 as a successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests taken in different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several variants, such as woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively replicating the structure of Finnish forests. Due to similar vegetation and terrain conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage also performs well in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in natural surroundings.
