MultiCam Camouflage
MultiCam is a modern camouflage pattern created in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior program. The goal was to create a universal pattern effective in various terrains and changing environmental conditions.
The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors that create gradient transitions between shades of green, brown, and beige. This allows it to dynamically adapt to the background, adopting green shades in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions. In Central and Eastern Europe, it is particularly effective in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the U.S. Army as the pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). This pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military enthusiasts and airsoft players.
