Savotta Frag Smoke Pouch - MultiCam

Pouch in MultiCam camouflage designed for storing grenades, smoke bombs, and other small equipment. It is used in both tactical and outdoor activities, offering significant flexibility in use. Made from durable 1000D Corduraand polyester webbing, which ensures high resistance to damage and longevity.

Construction from 1000D Cordura, NIR

The design is based on a single, cross panel of material that, thanks to the use of velcro fasteners, allows for a wide range of adjustments. This setup allows for adaptation to various types of grenades, blank ammunition, or even small radios, without the need for rigid compartments. The 1000D Cordura material is noted for its high resistance to abrasion and harsh terrain conditions. The material used meets NIR (Near Infrared) requirements, which reduces visibility in the infrared spectrum.

closure and content protection

Closed with a flap and SR type buckle plus an additional velcro fastener, ensuring solid security of the contents. It also features open bottom corners to allow free water drainage and top "wings" to protect the contents from dirt. The dimensions of the pouch are 9 x 12 x 1 cm.

Mounting system and MOLLE/PALS compatibility

The model includes a mounting system compatible with PALS/MOLLE, allowing stable attachment to tactical vests, belts, or backpacks. Additionally, the design allows threading through loops, enabling attachment directly to belts 45-50 mm wide. This makes the pouch compatible with various modern accouterment systems and performs well in different gear configurations.

multicam camouflage

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.

Savotta

Savotta is a Finnish family business from Karstula that has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents and field equipment for the military, rescue services and people who value heading out into the wild since 1955. The brand's gear has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces without interruption since the 1960s, meeting the strict standards demanded of military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it reaches for top-tier materials such as Cordura, with almost all of its raw materials (97%) coming from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider quick-adjustment system, frames made of polyethylene plates, and laser-cut PALS/MOLLE attachments. Every design is created in Finland, and the entire manufacturing process remains within the borders of the European Union. As interest has grown, the brand has expanded production - since 2025 its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was made, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
